after about 8 months of trying, we are finally pregnant!

And so the story goes:
Keith and I drove home on Saturday morning after being out of town for his brother's wedding on Friday night. My period was about two days late and I just had a feeling in my stomach that something was different. I had an FRER pregnancy test so I figured why not? Without saying anything to Keith, I took a test and sure enough, a very light second line showed up. I was (quietly) freaking out because I didn't have anything ready for how I would tell Keith. I always knew that I wanted to do something related to MSU (go green!) but I hadn't quite figured it out yet. So I told Keith I was going to the grocery store to get a few things, and off I went.
While I was out, I picked up another test so that I could test again, just to be sure. After going to the MSU bookstore, I snuck into Starbucks to use their bathroom and test again. Sure enough, a slightly darker than before pink line appeared. My 15-minute drive home felt like two hours. I was soooo excited to share the news with Keith!
He was napping when I got home, so I got everything ready, let him know I was home, and gave him a few minutes to wake up. I told him I had a present for him, and gave him this:

His reaction was "WHAT DOES THIS MEAN??" I still don't think he believed it at that point. I showed him the two pregnancy tests and he still wasn't sure he should believe it. He insists that he was just half asleep but I know he was in shock... as was I :)
So here we are, sooo excited but also cautious until we meet with the doctor. We can't wait to meet you, Baby Plummer!

Welcome to the World Baby Plummer! So excited to watch you grow!
