Owl Bedding - The Final Version

You may have seen that I recently posted baby girl's nursery bedding. Well, it got returned. We received it about a week ago and unfortunately the colors were way off compared to what the photos showed - the pink was definitely not pink, but more of a salmon color. It wasn't horrible but it just wasn't the look I was going for.

So I found this beautiful set online and after a little research, found it listed on ebay for much cheaper than any other site. Luckily the ebay listing only had about 7 hours left with no other bids, and we were able to win it at an awesome price.

I received it this past Friday and I absolutely LOVE it!!

We got the 9-piece set that includes the following:
Crib blanket/quilt
Crib skirt
Fitted crib sheet
Bumper
Diaper stacker
Toy Bag
Throw pillow
2 window valances

We also plan to purchase the mobile and the lamp shade. I can't wait to see the nursery come together! We're ordering the furniture this coming weekend, so pics of that to come soon :)

23 Week Bump Pic

23 weeks... baby girl is now the size of a POMEGRANATE!!

This photo was taken in natural daylight, and as I get paler in this lovely Michigan winter weather, my stomach is blending into the beige wall background! I think we'll stick with taking shots at night with the flash.

We recently booked our babymoon - one more vacation together before baby girl comes.

We're headed to THE BAHAMAS!!

Ahhhh... I can't wait until March 3rd! Lots of sun, relaxing, and good food will be just what I need as I head into my third trimester :)

Baby Kicks ♥♥

During our anatomy scan, we were informed that I have an anterior placenta. For those not familiar, this means that my placenta is on the front of my uterus instead of on the back wall (which is the usual spot). There are no real negatives or risks to this, but the doctor did say that it may take a few extra weeks before I could feel any movement in there.

Well, this past Friday night at 21 weeks 6 days, I felt baby girl kick me! I had been paying extra close attention over the past week or so because I knew it would happen any day now. A couple times I thought I felt something, but Friday night I was 100% positive it was a kick. She started kicking me again yesterday afternoon and Keith was actually able to put his hand on my belly and feel her too. It was such an amazing thing for us to experience together :)

I am now able to feel her multiple times a day and I'm LOVING it!!

Better late than never: cupcake gender reveal!!

I know I took forever to post these, but here are the pics from our gender reveal to our families!

Flavors: mint chocolate chip and cinnamon pumpkin... yum!!

First we announced at Keith's parents' house - his mom, dad, and aunt were there. As you can tell from the pics, they were really surprised! Keith's family is full of boys and everyone just assumed that Baby Plummer would be a boy too!

Then we went to my dad's house to announce the news to my mom, dad, sister, and sister's boyfriend. They were just as excited!!

A pic of the happy parents to be :)

Shopping Spree for Baby Girl!

Today my sister and I hit up the outlet stores to look for some cute baby gear... umm I probably could have bought every single thing in Carter's. So freaking cute!! I ended up deciding on the items below - I'm so excited for baby girl to get here so we can put her in these adorable outfits :)

Hot pink and neon green... love it!!

Also purchased from Carter's but not pictured:
White cotton shorts with a hot pink tie
Two swaddling blankets

And a couple (adorable) Old Navy purchases:
